Karlsruhe is the place to be for IT security. It is not just home to one of Germany’s most vibrant IT and tech communities with such beacons of innovation as the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, KIT. It is also the place where Wibu-Systems was born and where we continue to innovate and push ahead with new solutions and technologies for IP protection, license and entitlement management, and IT security.
This year’s KIT Science Week from 10 to 15 October will coincide with a very special event: The InnovationFestival @karlsruhe.digital. Hosted in the exclusive surroundings of the ZKM Center for Art and Media, the partners of TechnologieRegion Karlsruhe will bring high-profile keynote speakers from the worlds of business, science, culture, and public policy to the stage to showcase the diversity and energy of Karlsruhe’s innovation community.
Wibu-Systems will be there to share some of our expertise and news straight from our innovation labs. Our Director Corporate Technology, Dr. Carmen Kempka, will be on stage on 13 October, at 5 pm to inspire the audience with her pitch. We are focusing on two new additions to our CodeMeter family of protection and licensing solutions: AxProtector Python and AxProtector CTP. Bringing cutting-edge encryption technology like our award-winning Blurry Box mechanisms – developed together with our partners at KIT – to native Python code, AxProtector Python is the perfect choice for protecting software in the language most favored by AI developers. In parallel, AxProtector CTP introduces new obfuscation technologies to add another level of protection against tampering during runtime.
