Industrial Automation Beijing 2015: Wibu-Systems takes part with its own exhibit and a unique keynote
Industrial Automation Beijing 2015 is taking place May 13-15. This is the preferred meeting place for international experts from the automation and the IT industries. For the first time ever, Wibu-Systems will present CodeMeter, its all-in-one solution for software protection, licensing and security, at the German Pavilion in hall 9, booth 20. Our specialists will assist trade show visitors and provide qualified advice to their individual needs and requirements.
This event also hosts the “International Intelligent Manufacturing Conference 2015”. On the morning of May 14th, Oliver Winzenried, CEO and founder of Wibu-Systems, will hold a lecture about “Security for the Industry 4.0 and the Business Opportunities arising from appropriate protection designs” as part of the keynote II panel.
Manufacturers can encrypt their embedded software and production data with CodeMeter, and deliver these to their customers using industrial-grade protection hardware units, namely CmDongles, where licenses are securely stored. Signatures and certificates can both be saved on CmDongles, prevent tampering and promote the secure implementation of Industry 4.0 principles.
CodeMeter has been integrated in several mainstream systems, such as the RTOS VxWorks and the PLCs of CODESYS, Bernecker & Rainer and Rockwell Automation, in order to allow manufacturers to protect their software against piracy, industrial espionage and sabotage, regardless of the platform they have opted for.
The new Starter Kit for Raspberry Pi has been designed to simplify the evaluation phase; with just a few clicks, manufacturers can seamlessly test the protection features of CodeMeter.
Oliver Winzenried further explains: “Industrial Automation Beijing is a great opportunity to introduce both Chinese and international companies to our solutions for IP protection and security. This has become a primary success factor for intelligent device manufacturers. The lecture will be an additional chance to show how to secure intellectual property and generate new business models. The success of our Chinese subsidiaries testifies the strong growth of the industrial automation field.”
