Wibu-Systems supports Youth Tech Education in Karlsruhe

Share:

At Wibu-Systems, we believe that empowering young people with technological and digital skills is essential to preparing them for a world increasingly driven by technology. That’s why we’re proud to support technika, Karlsruhe’s technology initiative, developed by CyberForum e.V., the region’s largest high-tech network. Technika introduces children and youth to the basics of technology and IT, giving them an early foundation to explore these fields and fostering an enduring interest that will serve them well in today’s fast-evolving digital landscape.

Inspiring Future Innovators

The goal of technika is to ensure that boys and girls alike have sustainable, early access to fundamental skills in technology and computing. Through various engaging programs, the initiative provides young minds with hands-on experience in building, coding, and understanding the digital tools that shape our world. Technika’s activities begin as early as primary school, when students are most open to exploring and experimenting, making tech education both accessible and fun.

Key Programs and Activities

Technika offers a variety of engaging programs to spark interest in technology among young learners. Through school-based technology clubs equipped with fischertechnik kits and controllers, students gain hands-on experience in building and coding. Additionally, Girls’ Digital Camps sponsored by Baden-Württemberg’s Ministry of Economic Affairs provide young girls with early exposure to digital fields, while events like the Karlsruhe School-Robotics-Cup and Fischertechnik Day bring students together to showcase their skills and compete in robotics challenges. For those wanting a deeper dive, STEM holiday camps allow students to tackle exciting projects alongside like-minded peers, fostering a community of young, aspiring innovators.
