    • EPA TSCA 6h and 8a Declaration of Conformity

      The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which is considered the equivalent of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), has finalized the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Section 6 (h) rules in January 2021 for persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic (PBT) substances. In September 2023, the EPA also finalized the reporting and detection requirements for PFAS in Section 8 (a) of TSCA. This declaration confirms that Wibu-Systems' hardware dongles (WibuKey and CmDongle) comply with the actual regulation.

    • OEHHA – California Proposition 65 Declaration of Conformity

      The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) Proposition 65, officially known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, was enacted as a ballot initiative in November 1986. The proposition protects the state's drinking water sources from being contaminated with chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm, and requires businesses to inform Californians about exposures to such chemicals. Proposition 65 requires the state to maintain and update a list of chemicals known to the state to cause cancer or reproductive toxicity. This declaration confirms that Wibu-Systems' hardware dongles (WibuKey and CmDongle) comply with the actual regulation.

      Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has been operating a Foreign Manufacturers Certification Scheme (FMCS) since the year 2000 under BIS Act, 2016 and Rules & Regulations framed there under. All foreign products listed under FMCS, either licence is granted to a Foreign Manufacturer for use of Standard Mark under the Scheme I (ISI-Mark) certification process on a product that conforms to an Indian Standard, or the Scheme II-1 (CSR, Electronics & IT Goods) registration of self-declarated products according product categories notified by the Department of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY). The licence and registration is granted by Foreign Manufacturers Certification Department (FMCD) located at BIS Headquarters, New Delhi. All WIBU-SYSTEMS AG Hardware-Dongle products are not within the scope of the product categories listed by BIS FMCS or MeitY.
